MONTROSE-WILSON-LAWRENCE AVENUE CORRIDOR
Alderman Cappleman of the 46th Ward requested to host three Community Meetings focused on the Montrose-Wilson-Lawrence Avenue Corridor within the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive (NDLSD) project area. The goal of these meetings is to receive community input on the current issues and potential improvements within this corridor.
COMMUNITY MEETING #3
The third and final Montrose-Wilson-Lawrence (MWL) Avenue Corridor Community Meeting was held on September 26, 2019 at the Larry McKeon Student Services Building at Harry S. Truman College. Over 40 members of the public were in attendance and 6 Comment Forms were received at the meeting. The meeting was held in an open house format from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a PowerPoint presentation at 6:30 p.m. Attendees were provided the opportunity to discuss the results of the alternatives evaluation process and the top performing alternative with project team members following the presentation. Comments will be accepted through the entire project development process. However, to become part of the public record of this Community Meeting, comments must be received or postmarked by October 18, 2019.

This was the final Community Meeting held in the series of three Montrose-Wilson-Lawrence Corridor Community Meetings. The information from these meetings will be shared with the NDLSD Project Study Group. The top performing alternative will be incorporated into the corridor-wide design for the remainder of the Phase I Study process.

The second Montrose-Wilson-Lawrence (MWL) Avenue Corridor Community Meeting was held on January 24, 2019 at the Larry McKeon Student Services Building at Harry S. Truman College. Over 60 members of the public were in attendance and five Comment Forms were received at the meeting. The meeting was held in an open house format from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a PowerPoint presentation at 6:30 p.m. followed by an alternatives workshop. Comments will be accepted through the entire project development process. However, to become part of the public record of this Community Meeting, comments must be received or postmarked by February 20, 2019

Comments will be accepted through the entire project development process. However, to become part of the public record of this Community Meeting, comments must be received or postmarked by November 7, 2018.
